2022 Ford Maverick Hybrid Issues/Questions

I have had my 2022 Ford Maverick XLT Hybrid for almost a year now and absolutely love it. In the last few months, my Ford Pass the Navigation/Map application disappeared. It just so happened to coincide with me changing some things on the Android Phone which is also paired to the truck.
I DEFINITELY had Navigation on the Truck for the better part of 9 months. I called the Ford Help Desk and they said that based on my VIN, my truck did not come with Navigation.
So my question is 2 fold
1. Why might I have had it then mysteriously it disappeared?
I did a factory reset and it did not come back.
2. At the same time this happened, the Voice Assistant voice changed and has practically useless. It does not recognize ANY commands, the voice changed and it also did not revert back after I did a reset.

My guess is that you had Android Auto connected to your truck and were getting your Nav through that. Would explain the voice change and why it doesn't understand you. Google is superior to the Ford Sync stuff.

But DISCLAIMER: I don't use Android Auto. Maybe someone else here can give definitive answers.

You could study up and see how to get Android Auto to work on your truck and see if gets you back to what you want.

I've been trying multiple things unsuccessfully so far. I suspect it is Android related as well. I'll keep searching, thanks!
You definitely have navigation, but it is thru your cell phone connected to your CarPlay, whether it is Android or Apple. If you use it, you use data. I have limited data shared between 3 cell phone on Xfinity Mobile (which uses Verizon towers), for LESS than $20/mo. TOTAL including taxes (not per phone), so I use it sparingly.
The navigation map used to be on the Ford Pass screen, now it is only on phone

Are you sure your phone is connected by cable properly to USB input? Do other APPs show up on Mav screen?
Yes it is connected via a USB cable, however it is also connected thru Bluetooth. I can try removing the Bluetooth connection but not certain if I haven't already tried that.

Hum, I am not up on the ‘my Ford Pass the Navigation/Map application disappeared’ thing. Believe my hybrid XLT did not come with nav. Nav is only shown when you connect your phone, I believe, with a usb wired connection. I could be incorrect.

You are correct w/o built-in Nav.
