Saw this on another board. Something about the trailer lights not working correctly. Check out the production dates on the notice. Also, it seems that dealers cannot release new vehicles (delivery hold) until this is resolved. (Don't kill the messenger!)

Now, my production date falls squarely in the middle of the date range. Neither Ford nor the NHTSA has tagged my VIN as falling under this recall...yet. There's chatter about it only applying to the tow package with 7-pin connector & brake controller & not necessarily for the ones with a 4-pin connector. But who knows for sure? The really crappy thing is that this is creating a delivery/demonstration hold until it's resolved...and they aren't looking at doing that until 2QTR. Sure it's only weeks away, but there are people on here who were planning on picking up their truck in a couple days.

I tried entering my VIN at that Ford site, and it said it was unable to look up. I tried at GOV site, and it just keeps swirling. WTF?

My build date was February 28. So should not affect mine. Expected to arrive at dealer in 2 weeks.

My? As a Qc inspector In the past. How does this get though quality control? And what else is there to be concerned about?!!
