So if Ford says an identical spare tire is required when trailer towing, then why doesn’t the 4K Tow Package come with the necessary identical spare? It would be stupid to pay the $115 plus sales tax on the “not quite identical spare tire”. I will have to get a truly identical spare at a tire store. So in reality, I am still wasting money paying for a donut spare and rim that I can not and will not use when trailering. Am I missing something, Ford?

Wouldn't simply turning OFF Traction Control be fine for the slight difference?
