Thoughts on going with the factory spray-in bed liner versus an aftermarket vendor?

I would do it myself under a nice cool tree in October for a buck 50 .All you need to do ,is watch a YouTube video or two . And buy the supplies.

I second line X, I think it is amazing stuff but can’t say it is better. You can also get a color that match’s the truck if you want to for extra.
Lifetime warranty of line x will beat the Ford warranty and same price

Hum, color matched .
I only had one truck, a ridgeline 2nd…should have kept it lol. So don’t know much about the Mav truck bed. What is it…steel and I infer the spray is just a coating that can scratch which then shows the metal underneath. Different from a composite bed which the ridgeline had.

The DIY stuff in a can is nowhere near as good.

I prefer after market line x. You will get the "What about the warranty being voided" stuff but I trust my locally owned line x guy over an assembly line putting hundreds of cars together in a day. The lifetime warranty and free touchups, if offered, are great.

You would be surprised how many local dealerships use the line x locations in their market for trucks that don't have a spray in bed liner but the customer wants the option. They get a discount and pocket the upcharge.

Line x is a great product and I believe Ford is using a very similar product and at 495 from factory is a no brainer the after market will be twice as much.

Twice? I paid $550 for LineX premium in my Cummins 6.5' bed in Los Angeles

Just got a quote for the ranger 950 in DFW and that was for linex
