No fog lights available on current model. The real question is, did they run wiring for a future installation? The fog light openings are in the bumper.

Well that’s a bummer! I can live without them though

Why aren’t there fog lamps. I live in Florida, we have plenty of foggy mornings. Is it because they think the low beams being L E D are strong enough?? Crazy you can’t get the dealer to install either. Smh

I agree and have a great aftermarket lighting company that I will get to install them. They actually do all the wiring for the city's emergency vehicles so they are ford experts lol

I have also read you can buy a piggyback 12v harness for diy lighting if you are not wanting and mods to the lighting harness.

Seems like I've seen some people install a light bar into the front grill for extra lighting.

Those blanks only take up a third of the slot with the hooks on the front. Could easily be Fog lights added to the spot next to them.

It's not about intensity with fog. It's about having light low enough to avoid reflecting the light off of the suspended water particulate that makes up the fog. More light = more reflection. And the shitty thing about LED lighting is it emits a bunch of light that is garbage to the human eye. Reflect that back at you, and you're just making things worse.

Long story short. You want low slung lighting that is cast flat, and not up against the fog. And preferably not LED.
I’m looking at Diode Dynamics flush mount.

The closed part at the bottom of the xl is for tow hooks not fog lights. Do we know if the top part of the headlight is wired for installation of a driving lamp.not a fog light

On my XLT the covers are molded in the lower fascia and are not removable.

You would have to cut out the covers or drill holes in them.

I did not look to see if anything is behind them.

There is no wiring for lights that Ford does not offer.

Don't spend $200 on a Etsy kit that some guy makes at his kitchen table, make your own.

If you don't want to hack into your wiring, use a remote switch.
