Ford Emblems on the Maverick

Hello all, this is my first post here on the forum. I reserved a Shadow Black, fully loaded XLT as soon as it became available! I'm going for the blacked out look and have kind of a random question that I'm not sure anyone will be able to answer. Does anyone know what size the Ford emblems on the front and rear are? I want to purchase some black overlays and I would imagine they are using the same size ovals as on other vehicles. The emblem on the tailgate seems rather large and almost the same size as that of the Ranger, however the front one looks to be on the smaller side. Any bit of info is much appreciated! 👍

Wow! That is a tuff question. Maybe the Admin might be able to get some info from Ford. Other wise maybe call Ford proper. Their zone office in your area" ?

Hey @R6MT welcome to the forum! I haven't seen anything about emblem size unfortunately. Are you looking to get new black emblems? Or are you looking to do the overlays yourself?

Thank you! Well I found some pretty nice inexpensive overlays for all sorts of Ford models so I was thinking of going that route.

That does make the most sense. I don't know if we'll be able to find the measurements out until someone gets to see the truck in person.
The trucks should be showing up for training and viewing in the next couple weeks at Ford dealers. I know Salina Kansas is getting one next week. I’m sure you could call the Ford dealer there and ask for measurements.

edit
I just though that maybe instead of overlays you get the emblems sprayed by Line X. They spray anything and do a fantastic job. It wouldn’t fade, it would be tough as nails, and the fit/finish would be pristine. cost might be a bit more but probably run a deal if you line x the bed. I also recommend line x 100x over Fords spray in liner. Ford uses quality spray, they just don’t use enough of it. The application applied at the factory is way to thin, from what Ive seen anyway.

Wouldn't that leave you with just a black oval?
I'm curious about this to, as I am interested in doing a black roof and black skull cap on my hot pepper Red XLT 2.0T. I really want to go with the black and orange red look

I will admit it wasn’t a well thought out idea. 🤣 you can, however, get just about any color you want.

You could tape off the Ford text and spray it
