I'm sure those Eco Boosts are strong little motors, and the additional towing is great. But with my F150 and its 5.4L V8, I'm getting 19 mpg's. 26 mpg is just not enough of a jump for me to justify it. Now 40 mpg certainly is ! Even so, I get 53 mpg (for the entire 53K miles I've driven it) in my 2019 Prius LE. I'll never own another vehicle that is not "at least" a hybrid. And probably in a few more years, all electric. BTW, I'm not all into electrics because I think they are so clean for the environment. I'm not even sure that's true. I like them because they have so fewer parts to fail, and torque from 0-max.
