That's a nice touch but it might be too much for some people. There's a little easter egg in the decal on the hood.

Hey - there's my truck! First Edition, Rapid Red, black wheels, sunroof. They can drop it off in Texas after they're done showing it off. That's a nice touch but it might be too much for some people.
Here are some other photos.

Rapid Red. Hot Pepper Red isn't available as a first editionDoes anyone know which version of red this is- the rapid red vs the carrot red?
I agree. The decals will be almost invisible on Carbonized GreyIt is weird that some of the brightest colors didn't get the pick for First Edition availability. Cyber Orange, Velocity Blue, Hot Pepper Red, and Cactus Grey all would have contrasted quite nicely with the black graphics.
The controls come from the Escape. Good setup. Thanks for sharing @Primrose.
I like that Ford included some actual buttons for the infotainment system so we can adjust things while not looking at the screen. I'm also a big fan of all the center console storage space.
Rapid Red superseded Ruby Red more or less. They're very similar colors so I could see a marketing person used to the shade confusing the nomenclature. If you look at some videos of it they called it ruby red. Only available on first edition.
This is some tacky auto zone shit. Disappointing as this is the exact truck we ordered. Calling dealer and canceling todayThere's a little easter egg in the decal on the hood.

It's a First Edition so it's got to be Rapid Red (which all of the car show videos refer to as Race Red). I like it, and I wish Ford hadn't decided to display it under bright blue lights.Does anyone know which version of red this is- the rapid red vs the carrot red?
From the pictures it looks pretty good but how does the fit and finish look in real life? I have been a lifelong Ford fan but this seems to be one of their true weaknessess...Post pictures here of the Maverick at the Chicago Auto Show.
