Great visual comparison. Now, please produce that extended cab configuration with a longer bed.

It will be interesting to see if/when Ford does offer a two-door Maverick. I think it depends on how many people pressure them into making it happen.

I don't think it will ever happen. Since the Maverick is a unibody, it would be a totally new design to change cab and bed structurally. Would not be enough sales to be worth it to them. The Maverick will typically be a car replacement vehicle, which means more people will want 4-5 passenger.

Thanks for posting those! My Impala is right about the same length as the older rangers, glad to see the maverick is right in line with what I was expecting from the specs.

Thanks for the comparison. I have a 1997 Ford Ranger Super Cab. Ordered a 2.0L XLT AWD. Maverick a bit larger plus Crew Cab. Really wanted that & AWD in a "medium" size truck. Maverick about size of old Chevy C10 which I had.

I owned a 2000 XLT 4x4 Ranger, with the 4.0 litre engine, for 13 years. It was one of the most reliable vehicles I've owned.
If my lariat Maverick (eco boost) is 75% as reliable I'll be happy.

Yup. My 1997 extended cab 4L 4x4 has been very reliable. I have long said Ford should make this truck with crew cab & AWD & they did. The Maverick! Still driving Old Ranger in winter, Mustang rest of year. Debating whether to keep Ranger for nasty, salty days!

Also Maverick much quicker & better mpg. 0 to 60 in old ranger about 14 seconds. 😂
