One of the perks of owning your new Maverick will be the FordPass app. In addition to gaining remote access to your truck (discussed later), you will also receive $210 in FordPass Rewards that you can use towards Ford accessories.

So maybe instead of buying those Floor Liners ($135), save your cash and use your FordPass $$ (usually takes 3-4 weeks for $$ to be available in your app). When your Rewards arrive, simply tell your local Ford Parts Dept you need to order your accessories with your FordPass Rewards. When the items arrive, your points will be deducted and your FordPass app will update your available points.

But. There's. More. In addition to remote features and the $210 to use towards accessories, you'll earn even MORE FordPass rewards each time you bring your Maverick to your Ford service center. Yep. More.

So yeah, the Maverick + FordPass is going to blow you away. Below is a video describing setting up the FordPass app once your Maverick arrives.

So I signed up for Ford Pass and it's asking me for a vin. Well obviously I don't have one yet as I pre ordered so how do I get these Ford Pass points you guys are talking about?
When your truck arrives, you can enter the VIN info in the app. Usually takes 3-4 weeks after that for $$ to be available in your app.

Thanks for the answer! That's something the OP probably should have put in his first post though. Would have saved me the trouble of installing and then uninstalling the Ford Pass app on my phone.......
My apologies for not being that specific. When you click on the link in the OP, at 00:42 it states to connect the app to your vehicle. I assumed that would indicate you cannot qualify for the points until you have actually purchased the truck.

As far as the trouble installing/uninstalling??? Just keep it on your phone until your truck gets here. 🤷‍♂️

Do the points activate only after installing and using the app? My phone won't do the app. What now?
tom
YES, and normally 30days after vehicle is activated on the app, then you receive the points
My suggestion would be upgrade phone to activate the vehicle and get your points.. it will be worth it

Requires Android
7.0 and up

Compatibility iPhone Requires
iOS 14.0 or later.

You do not need cellar service on Phone to activate, WIFI does work.
So maybe find a friend with an extra phone you can use

I thought you get a reward of points per dollar spend on a new vehicle, (1%) so that $210 is for a base truck with no options... Does anyone know if those of us who got a Lariat will be getting a larger "reward"?

It's an odd system but it doesn't matter about price, an XL gets the same amount of reward points as a fully loaded Lariat.

YEP, I have purchased 3 new fords in the 3 years (1 was totaled and they took the points back 😢 because less than a year), all had the same 42,000 points. The prices ranged from 17k to 30k
(gota read the fine print on them points...too)
