Can anyone provide some information regarding their experience with negotiating the final price? I spent some time at one dealer, went through my configuration, and had the Estimated Net Price provided by the configurator. This particular dealer wants to add $2500 to that price ($22,400), and requests $1,000 down payment. I'm fine with the down payment, but not sure about this $2500 dealer addition. Seems like they just want to pad their pockets?

Mine says MSRP with $500 refundable deposit

Definitely find a different dealer to go through. I'm paying exactly what the Ford site says I should pay, and as others have said, a $500 deposit was requested. That extra $2500 is 100% them padding their pockets.

i got my order in monday at the MSRP price with no down payment. I asked them what would happen if I backed out down the road when the build was in process. he said no problem we'll take it and sell it in a week or less. You need to walk away from those dealers with the dealer price add on.

My dealer sold it to me at MSRP and only wanted a $100 deposit (which they decided to just not charge me lol)

I called around to a couple Ford dealers in my area.Went into two. The first one wanted a $3k deposite non refundable. I ended up going with Toms Ford where I got a life time warranty on the engine and two year free service with only a $500 refundable deposit. No extra chargers.
