Had removed from my 2022 so as not to hold up the build, but when it was converted to a 2023, it somehow got put back on. In the meantime I ordered a new Roll-N-Lock. No use for both. the dealer swapped out for me, but would not give me credit. I paid 1200.00 for it yesterday.

Too bad shipping from your location would negate any savings for me. Do you have a link to that Roll-N-Lock you mentioned?

Thanks! That looks like what I'm really looking for without that much more money. I read that the roll-up box takes up 7"+, but how does that translate in "feeling" when in a 4.5' bed? Do you "feel" like you lost a lot of precious cargo space?

I do not. It takes up less space than any of the other retractables. PLUS. I bought the day after Thanksgiving , so got an extra $140.00 of, plus a free cargo manager worth $299.00. A win win for me.

wonder if it works with the ford drop-in bed liner. Figure though it does not prevent water leaks…thinking none of them do. Then again, this model does cover up the back when some when rolled up.

I have the factory roll up cover in my Santa Cruz. Only way to go IMO if you want security and a low profile cover.

It does take some bed room, but if I needed more bed room I would have bought a F-150.

Another shipping option for bulky items is Greyhound. I have shipped car seats at a very reasonable cost.

So how is your Roll-N-Lock? Is there a lot of rattle? Especially on rough roads? I'm working on getting the money for it and getting it from the same place (at the same time) that I get my spray-in liner installed. Unless you know of a better-priced source?

Only have 350 miles on the truck so far, but have not noticed any rattling. As I said before, I bought from Roll-N-Lock website and got140 off because it was the day after Thanksgiving. Also got the 299 cargo manager free as a rebate. I think you will like it and wish you luck !

Sorry for bugging you, but you're the only one I know who has this. The box that the cover rolls into (I think it's 7"?), is it pretty securely set in place? The reason I ask is that when I transport my cruiser bike, I have to jam it up against the front wall and hold it tight with rachet straps. I know the box will be in the way. Is it securely bolted in place so that the added pressure won't mess with it? Picture included for illustration. Thanks for your feedback.

I don't think that it would be a problem at all. Seems really secure. As long as your bikes rear tire still sits on the tailgate i think you will be fine.
