I think this is the best idea I’ve heard . Because it’s a totally new model that’s first revision . And at the end of the lease you could aways buy it , if it turns out to be a keeper .

Has anyone ordered a Maverick for lease?
I’m trying to decide between buying and leasing, and just wondering what kind of lease deals to expect. I’m undecided between and XLT and a Lariat.

Can’t imagine a low miles (10 K annual) lease on a $30K MSRP Maverick would be less than $500 per and that be with around $4000 due at signing.
I would be careful about a lease if you drive like a normal American. Most leases are designed to only drive about 10k miles a year and then when you're ready to let it go, BANG, $Big Dollars on mileage penalties and any dings/bruises. Just saying from experience. IIRC the residual values/money factor on the Maverick XLT Hybrid are supposed to be fairly reasonable. So it might not be the worst idea if one wanted to hold out for a PHEV or hybrid AWD version coming out in a few years.

I see the same seat and think saddleback. Seems a lot more interesting than black or grey or even the blue interior.would love to order the Lariat…. it I simply cannot get past the TAN seats.
