So here's a question to ponder... Correct me if I'm wrong, but as I understand all trims have LED Headlamps, but only the lariat has 'LED Signature lighting.' Now I'm guessing that led signature lighting is referring to the top half of the 'C' in the housing assembly, and that's fine.
Here's the question, if this is true, and that's just empty space in the housing in the XL and XLT, how much do you think it would take to put the LED into that blank spot, aftermarket or ford genuine part?

Wow.... I saw a video about two years ago about a guy putting leds in his JEEP Wrangler head lights. You might look at those. But I imagine that buying those head light units would probably be the easiest way. I know your not to say particular things but Rock Auto might have those soon. Cheaper than from the factory. I had to buy some headlamps for a vehicle and they were just crazy high. I got the new units for 78 bucks apiece! They sell factory originals too. I don't want to banned for this. Just trying to help out. be safe.

I will buy LED’s and have a ‘customized’ car shop install.

Phillips makes excellent LED bulbs.
