Is it semi or fully synthetic 0W-20?

Because the price of a quart of Motorcraft semi-synthetic is around that of 5 quarts of fully synthetic Mobil 1 at Walmart!

Doesn't have to be Motorcraft as long as it is approved engine oil.type approved type oil. where u live and can get! You are good .

Why use it? I found Motorcraft 0W-20 semi for over $24 a quart online.

First one was at 2K. Second at 7.5K, last one was at 14K. So about 6K-8K from here on out. M1 has a 15 K synthetic. But I just use their standard synthetic. Key is a good synthetic material oil filter like M1 and Wix has.

I called Mobil 1 technical support, and Ford had not sent them any details on the WSS-M2C962-A1 spec, so they cannot recommend one of their oils at this time.

I agree with the good oil comment but hear me out. Those mileage intervals recommended in your maintenance manual that are 7500- 10000 miles are only designed to be adequate enough to get your vehicle beyond its warranty life of 5 years or $60k miles. For true longevity of 250k - 300k do a minimum of 5k miles or 6 months which ever comes first.
