The SE Hyundai Santa Cruz base price is 27,000 even! With destination 1k to 1.5k. Bett-cha......and if that is the case .... The Santa Cruz better offer tons more poo. I mean TONS more. Like standard everything just about!

Yep! The design, and I'll use a polite politically correct term here...."polarizing" I can't really see any fans of traditional truck body design liking that vehicle.
The Maverick will lead the way in this new segment for sure if it proves to be decently reliable.

As similar as these two vehicles seem to be, I don't think there is going to be as much cross shopping as you would thing.

I think i would have to agree with you Philpug. I think more people like me will find the Maverick to their liking. Simplier Dash. I also think cross over peeps will prefer the Santa Cruz. Me being an older person like truck style of the Maverick. But to me the Santa Cruz has that cool Asian look and vibe. They said it was styled in California. I like it. The interior thou is too over the top for this old guy. So the simplier Maverick to me is better. I like knobs not touch screens. Sorry kiddos.
