Hey Trucklic.... I see a few body mods and flares? Looks like the new Maverick basically. I liked everything about the Maverick, except the front end. But I will live with it. I have been offset by Ford's front ends for years now. I think the Mustang front end is hideous. But I love the rear end! Chevy Camaros are ugly. But they sell. There are many cars or trucks now that look good to me. That's why I bought a new 2018 Challenger. It still doesn't compare to the original. I guess I'm just to old. When cars did have style. I wish Ford would have the Maverick front end with a better grille. I like the lights, maybe move the bar lower, and jut the top edge out farther. I think it would have more aggressive. But that is me. I like the tail end+++ FORDISH!

It will change pretty fast because the exterior and interior are just stale . My last truck was a 2000 Dodge Dakota Quad cab and even after twenty years it still appealed to me . And my second car is a 2004 Toyota Highlander and the car still appeals me . If the Maverick doesn’t meet the aesthetically pleasing bench marks for the interior and exterior looks . I will be patient and give them some time . But if something comes along thats small I will considerate . I am not brand loyal

Styling is not a concern for me, configuration is. I have to wait for a longer bed.

I am usually good at seeing minor changes in vehicle styling, but I am not seeing many here. The differences I see are the plastic fender flares, which very well could be added after market, aggressive tires and stancing, which same thing applies, as well as running boards, and FORD lettering in the grill. Most of those things could likely be had with a little bit of creativity and or aftermarket parts.

After looking at a photo for comparison, I see the front plastic bumper wraps to meet the fender flares, and that there is more aggressive 'popping out' of the fenders in general to accommodate wider wheelbase.

I do think it looks a bit better in this photo, but I also think that it does not fit into Ford's demographic or target for the Maverick. I very much doubt you will see this from the factory on a Maverick, except maybe in something like a Tremor package (I would definitely be interested). I could more easily see something like this (with a body on frame) being a next gen Ranger (God, I hate the current ranger), but for the Maverick parts of this would require a divergence of parts from the Hybrid trims.

To me Ford ONLY hit a home run with the Maverick on it’s size , gas mileage and price . You look at the blue truck above and see it as being a brawny looking truck and see it as a Tremor package. The Maverick will never be a FX4 or anything like a Tremor even though Ford will put these stickers on the truck .But what it could be for 2025 is the new revision called the Stallion . With the V6 2.7 Eco Boost and Hybrid. And the base truck starting at $32,000 .

But doing this would probably kill the the new Ranger .

I think this is beyond wishful thinking. The Ranger technically starts at like $24k, so starting at 32k seems like a non-starter.

This idea would be far better as an alternative version of the Maverick that just shares the platform and costs 3-4k more as a package. Its not different enough to be its own truck. Best of luck on waiting, though.

Out of all the Rangers I have seen on dealers lots from NJ to Massachusetts .The lowest price was a little over $34,000 and most of them are closer to $38,000+ . And from what I’m hearing on this forum , most every one is up grading their Mavericks to packages that are bring their out the door prices very close to $28,000.

Howdy! >🥶 from the end of summer in Palm Springs ⛳- sprinkled with a couple weeks outahere for a 3,000 mile + road trip to visit my kids with my new Area51Baby. I fell for A51Baby. This is NOT my first new FORD nor my last hopefully. I drove my first new 1991 F-150 for 13 years.

I have a bit of damage after the drive. Comfort and mileage were amazing...I do want a place to stealth sleep before I go again. 39MPG

I felt like I should 'a' had a helmet on when driving on the 2 lane Nevada highways from Zion to Vancouver, Washington. The hood seemed to flutter. Keeping in mind the hood is aluminum, correct?- In head to head passing, at 75MPH, NO wind, thank you Jesus, I found myself cringing every single time a truck went by the other way and there were a lot out there.

#1) I noted 2 small veins starting in passenger eye line. 1-Wal Mart offered me a windshield kit $20, 2-Auto Glass quoted $230 to repair, and who sells new ones? I have NO pits on the window yet at 5000 miles on vehicle. Has anyone tinted any or all of the window? I am sunburnt.

#2) The front bumper directly in front of the tire at the lowest point needs to go. No plastic allowed! Any ideas on how to take the corner off? This rock didn't get out quick enough and I have not decided what to do yet.
I am only going to take the bumper off unintentionally.....

#3) The back bumper. Why is there no step built in somewhere and what is the solution? I am not able to easily load my e bike and unload. I would like to speed that up....
