I finally got in touch with a dealership in my area that claims they have ordered my truck I got a 2.0 AWD Lariat in Velocity Blue with the FX4, Luxury PKG, 4k Towing and CO Pilot. The dealership gave me an order number (which is only 4 numbers?) And nothing else I didn't put any money down they never asked me to and said they would let me know as soon as the order is scheduled for production. At this point I've mostly decided if they ordered it then great but the hassle I went through to find anyone even willing to make an order for me has lost my original excitement and reading all the threads about people getting emails from ford makes me think mine hasn't even been placed but we shall see.

I've heard it takes up to a week....It depends on your dealer but they aren't the fastest...I got my letter the next day.. but maybe I was lucky:)

I had been working on the order since they were first announced but didn't get ant progress till about 3 weeks ago.

You can always call Ford customer service at 800-334-4375. That is what I did. Your build order should look like this. They will ask for the order code and sales code. They did confirmed my order even though I had not gotten the confirmation email.

I'm in the same boat. I haven't heard a peep out of my dealership since I placed the order. It feels strange since I've never given a car dealer my contact info, and not had my phone blown up by them, but I watched the guy type the order in his computer, I have the printout, they copied my driver's license. I'm going to wait until mid-August before I start worrying.

They never gave me a print out of anything all my order had been over the phone I think they may be part of the concern on my end I've always been the same way as soon as a dealership gets my info it's non stop calls and thats not the case on this order.

Go to Ford's website and click Support > Contact Ford. Use the chat function to chat with a representative. They should be able to look it up and find out if the order was placed or not. They did that for me.
