Just installed my 3rd Battery -- so sick of this

I have a 2022 Ecoboost XLT. All was fine until last year when it went into deep sleep mode. I brought it to the dealer, where they replaced the battery with another one of the motorcraft ones.
Last week, I got into a minor fender bender (parking lot backing up) and had to take it to the shop to get fixed. While it was there, it started to send me warnings on my phone about it going into battery saver mode.
Long story short, i decided to buy a new non-motorcraft battery from OReilly's. The body shop was gracious enough to install it for me since it's been a pain for them to have to keep jumping just to move it around their shop. I brought the old one to OReilly's and the manager there was dumbfounded how a 13 month old gel battery could go bad. He even tried to recharge it on their charger, but the thing was bad.

I work from home so I don't drive a whole lot. When I do, it's usually only in a 5 to 10 mile radius.

This should be a good test to answer the "is it the battery or the software" question, since this is not one of the Ford Motorcraft batteries that seem to always be at the center of this.

I also have a good battery charger of my own. I will use it to periodically check on this new battery.

Anyone else with an Ecoboost running into this battery issue? Have you solved it? How?

There was a couple battery related recalls on the 2022 model. 24s24 involved reprogramming the pcm to better sense battery voltage and 25s02 was related to batteries shorting out. Was your vehicle involved in any of these? My Chinese battery was replaced in the 25s02 recall with a new Motorcraft AGM. I've never had a starting issue but on several occasions the system had gone to sleep... but always started fine. Just the inconvenience of loss of remote start.

24s24 was for hybrids and it does not show up as appropriate for me because mine is an EcoBoost. There was another recall about inspecting the battery that I did bring mine in for, but they didn't change it out. That was around Jan of this year. Last year was when mine died completely and they put another MotoCraft battery in it. That's the one that died a couple weeks ago.

I’ve had the same battery issue. 2022 Ecoboost, Lariat, FX4. I’m on my second battery. Went away from the factory battery. Still having issues. Dealership can’t sort it out. It feels like an electronics or computer issue. I can’t pinpoint when the battery drains. I’ve been using a rechargeable battery pack to be able to start the vehicle. It’s about an every other month occurrence.
