Just Ordered Ford Maverick Lariat Edition

7365 Views 29 Replies 13 Participants Last post by  MaverickMax
Today I ordered the Lariat edition of the Ford Maverick which will take the place of my 2008 Honda Ridgeline. I selected the Lariat Luxury Package as the only add-on. It will be the Area 51 color with the ActiveX Bucket Front-Seats. There were some issues earlier in the day with some dealers not being able to place the order but that was resolved by the time I had gotten to the dealership. Attached is my order summary with the price!

Yes if you have one reserved at your local dealership you should be able to go in and place the order. I would do it quick because they are probably only selling a limited amount of the 2022's

I canceled my Bronco order and ordered the 1st edition Maverick today. I do wish Ford had put the SYNC 4 with a 12" screen in the Maverick!

I was initially told Sync 4 was in the Maverick. Kinda bummed at first, but Sync 3 is stable. Wireless CarPlay is very nice + connected Nav, but Sync 4 is new and needs some minor bugs worked out.

Welcome @clifford! Was it a Bronco Sport order that you had or the big Bronco?

Got my order in today, first at my dealer! Carbonized Gray Lariat with Luxury Package, FX4 Package, 4K Towing Package. So stoked, we've been saving for an F150 but it's always been overkill for our needs and we don't like the Ranger, but the Maverick ticks all the boxes.

Congrats @ryman222! Welcome to the forum. Were you considering any other trucks before the Maverick came out?
Hey folks, John in Atlanta here. It's getting to be time to buy a new vehicle and I knew nothing about Maverick until I saw news releases this week. I had a reservation for the F150 Lighting but really don't need another large truck. I have had several Ranger crew cabs in early 1990s. I am still driving the 2007 Ram 1500 I bought new, but I have a lifetime Chrysler extended warranty so no plans to let go despite 170K miles. New Rangers just do not excite me. I really like the Bronco but like the truck layout, so the Maverick is a perfect fit. Tha Ram truck will do real truck duty when needed but Hybrid Lariat will be perfect for all those miles when the big truck is not needed. 30 to 40 mpg will more than double what the Ram does. I plan to keep this long term so opted to go for all creature comforts of Luxury package rather than wish I had done so for the next 10-15 years. Definitely anxious to see a Velocity Blue Lariat in the garage soon.

@Primrose Yea I was planning on getting an F150 sometime next year but since the Maverick came in ~$20k cheaper and it can handle everything I need it to, decided to go for it now. Can't wait.

I imagine you're not going to be the only one that'll be saving a nice chunk of change rather than going with a Ranger or F-150.

Ahem.... We're not wanting to take sales from other Ford vehicles... We want to take sales from other companies. ;-)

It was a Badlands 2.7L Lux with a MIC top. I figured it would not be built till 2022 sometime. The Maverick is a better fit for my lifestyle.
