Just got my Maverick this week. Just got the chance to drive it today. I turned on the heat to auto and smelled gas. I went home and popped the hood smelling gas and noticed some wet spots on the hoses.

Has anyone had this issue?

Update:
Fords emergency service through the ford is awesome! While watching the lions and decided to check out the ford app. I contacted them and had it picked up and towed to dealer all within an hour! Not happy about the issue this soon but the emergency service was fantastic!

Drive fast and blow the fumes away so you don't have a combustible mixture.

Really, you could give the connectors a good push/pull and possibly rotate back and forth slightly them a bit.... IF the seeming wet spots are where the connectors push onto hard lines or other fittings. It's likely what a tech would do, unless the connectors are bad, in which case they will have to order replacements... which may/may not be in stock. If the Escape 2.0 fuel lines work, so much the better and more likely they will have any needed parts.
