The misses announced that the Maverick was her DD and I could have the Santa Cruz.

I'm ok with that, she still works and I am retired.

I also have a couple other Fords in the garage.

No, its a street car.
actually it was my daily driver before the maverick. note the A/C condenser.
photos are a porsche club hpde i was instructing at. i use to be a racer but now i'm old and slow - so i instruct.
and my other old fords is a 27 roadster and a 34 pickup with a supercharged flathead that was built by the second owner in 1948.

Always wanted a 31/32 full fender roadster with a blown flatty. Doubt i will get around to it now, too many other irons in the fire.

my T is full fendered, but it has been buick powered since before i was born.
however i did drive a full fendered, flathead powered 32 5W to high school in the 70's!

After 19 days of ownership, I finally got a chance to drive the Maverick today. We went out for tacos.

I like it a lot. My wife was there to supervise, so I didn't lower her mpg average.
