Ford hasn't said a thing about it yet but don't expect the Maverick to be flat towable. It shares a platform with the Bronco Sport and Escape, both of which cannot be flat towed. Only the bigger Bronco can.

But that could change here if the transmission is setup properly.

According to the image posted in a thread on this site, it looks like it is possible, but only with the hybrid powertrain, up to 70 mph. Look under Four Wheel Down Availability at the bottom right.
