Nice! When are you guys (reviewers) allowed to drive them? I know there’s an embargo, but are you allowed to reveal when the embargo is lifted?

They have to build them first before media can drive them. Until this last week only pre-production vehicles are out there and media generally are not allowed to drive them. Ford has not stated to anyone I know an "embargo" date. There doesn't need to be one because nobody has driven anything to be under embargo for.

I wonder if an engine cover from another Model with a 2.0EB would bolt on?

Shay-Any chance of recalling how high the radiator fan is in the ecoboost. It was good to see how high the air intake is and they batter/fusebox up top against the firewall. The Maverick is setting up to be a great little soft offroading/adventure pickup but the stream/river crossing can get a little sketchy hear in TN/NC/GA/SC area.

Hoping the radiator fan is higher up or has a dedicated fuse in the box for the times the rain has gone through the forest areas.
Speaking of under the hood . Do you think that there’s any chance a 2.7 Eco Boost could be squeezed in there ?

Thanks for your videos Sam! The in person video with the black Maverick on your YouTube channel convinced me to place my order. Exciting times with this truck!

Really looking forward to the test drive vids.

All the other manufactures have direct injection and port injection. Not Ford so Ford dropped in an engine that has known problems. Class action lawsuits . Why didn't you mention that?
Do you get paid by Ford?

Calm your tits. He just reviewed a truck in a dealership. Why don’t you direct your ire towards Ford corporate and the engineers.

Then don't do a half *ss report. Maybe he just isn't qualified at all or he is just another slimy dealership salesperson. Which is it ?
