The Maverick community seems covers a wide range of locations from what I realized.

Thanks a lot!! The news is the same that I see in the forum since everything that is filtered is born here. We believe that it will reach our country since it will be manufactured in Mexico and we have an import agreement with that country to reduce import costs (the same as happened with Bronco Sport). Beyond that, Ford has a very large gap in the range of products offered here as some models were discontinued and the Maverick would be a perfect fit there below the Ranger.Welcome to the forum @Luke! Thank you! I currently drive a 2020 Ford Escape hybrid. My wife has a 2003 Dodge Dakota pickup. I want to see the Maverick in person and test it out, as soon as it comes out, then I will order it if it's the right vehicle. I want to make sure we aren't giving up too much bed space for having a nice sized back seat. We have kayaks that fit perfectly in the Dakota and would like to continue that with the Maverick. So far, we like what we see and I am heavily leaning on getting it...just have to make sure it's the right vehicle.Welcome!
What are you driving at the moment and do you see yourself ordering a Maverick right after order books open?
I'm currently driving around a 2014 F-150 XLT and did want to upgrade to a newer F-150 or Ranger, then news of the Maverick came out and been hungry for new info ever since! And yes, I will likely order as soon as order books open.Thank you! I currently drive a 2020 Ford Escape hybrid. My wife has a 2003 Dodge Dakota pickup. How about you? Ordering it right away?
I took a look at the Honda Ridgeline. Love the trunk in the bed (that can be used as a spare tire) and really like that the spare tire is embedded in...the bed. I was not happy with the price though. I would love if the Maverick would have nice proportions and good sized bed. Like the old Ranger, but with a little more rear seat room would be perfect. I do love the looks of the Maverick and since it is based on the Escape / Bronco Sport platform, I love my Escape room and handling so that should carry over with the Maverick. The Dakota my wife has would be 100% perfect except it's a sport cab and the rear seat is only suitable for kids in my opinion. So bigger backseat with a long enough bed that it doesn't look chunky, I am there!I'm currently driving around a 2014 F-150 XLT and did want to upgrade to a newer F-150 or Ranger, then news of the Maverick came out and been hungry for new info ever since! Are you looking at any similar pickups?
Didn't care much for Hyundai's but the new Santa Cruz seems interesting!
