Just ordered today and dealer sent me a code X811. Anybody know if this is dealer code?
I’m inSC and dealer in Fl. My small town dealer has issues and have bought my 19 Ranger from dealer in Fl. He said I will get email after vin# is processed. Tks Ron

I ordered my Maverick the LAST week of July. I haven't heard anything from Ford about it! Period.
Call your dealer - Call Ford Customer Service (1-800-392-3673 and 1-800-334-4375). I have heard a lot of dealers NOT submitting orders after reservations - so it's up to you to make sure your dealer is on your side or just Flapping In The Wind!

I don't understand that, why would a dealer not want to submit an order for a vehicle? I'm beginning to wonder myself because the dealership I'm going through seems to have lackluster service and hasn't responded to any of my contact attempts for 2 days.

I ordered my Maverick the LAST week of July. I haven't heard anything from Ford about it! Period.
If your reservation was turned into an order and submitted to FoMoCo, you SHOULD have received an email from Ford that verified that your ORDER had been placed. I received my email within 5 minutes of the email from Chapman that I had placed an order. Subsequently, I had to send a signed copy of my order and a copy of my drivers license to verify it was not a 'false retail' being submitted by the dealer.
IOW, You should have received a confirmation from Ford, and if you did not, unless you don't have email, then your order was likely not placed, or if placed, may have been subverted into a false retail by your dealer. Or your dealer is a total boob unable to comply with Ford sales dictates about reservation conversion to solid orders.
I would be checking with my dealer, and demanding s/he show the confirmation from Ford the order was placed. An honest and effective dealer can show that for ALL orders placed.

Did the dealer take a copy of your drivers license and have you sign the print out of the build? If so did they put your email in your build profile?
Yes they did. They called me back the next day and said that the drop in bed liner would cause my build to be delayed, i could opt out of it or order the sprayin and I ordered the sprayin. But I haven't seen or heard anything yet since.

Ask for a “Maverick customer order verification program” sheet it will have the info attached on it

How do you know if dealer is being up front on coding. There’s really no way to know is there? Mine told me I have the highest number.

Finally got a message from dealer .I’m a 19 and just asked to be moved up and I’m guessing everyone else is also

Last Friday I got an email from Ford confirming my email address in the subject line and then the email just disappeared. Really

I ordered my Lariat on 7/22 and heard nothing from Ford. So I called and the lady asked me for my phone number so she could track my order. She then called me by name and confirmed that I had ordered a Lariat. She said I should be receiving a production number in a couple of weeks.
