Maverick scheduling/production info

I wanted to pass on some info from a convo with my Zone Manager this afternoon. (If this info proves inaccurate, keep in mind I am passing it on- not stating this as fact.)
😉

  1. Expecting 6,500 Mavericks produced in Sept. 0 in October. If this release follows other releases, he expects 15-18k Mavericks in Nov.
  2. The 1st Edition model will get priority scheduling the first 2 months.
  3. Hybrid does have late availability.
  4. Stock inventory could (most likely will) arrive before retail (special) orders. I was 100% sure this was not the case, but I was wrong.
  5. The Maverick will have 9 months of production for the 2022 model year.
  6. Retail scheduling (special orders) starts July 29.
  7. Priority 2 means the Ford scheduling dept has "vetted" your order and is prepping it for scheduling. This is good!

Thanks for the info, super helpful! Wondering what this means for my 1st edition hybrid model...seems like it could be a while with the late availability on the hybrid? Not the worst thing ever as it buys me time to make a few more payments on my existing ride.

I just found out my Lariat, 4K, FX4 has reached Priority 2 status. Fingers crossed it makes it into schedule next week. I’m hopeful, it was an early order 6-16-2021.

How did you find that out? My print out from the dealership doesn't have a whole lot of information on it. Wondering if it is worth calling them. Thanks!

My original order doc had the priority code at entry set to 80 (dealer default stock order number). I contacted them today to verify that they moved it up to a (10-19) (which is a Retail priority code). They checked to make sure and indicated it had actually been picked up, reviewed and set to 02 by Ford.

Your dealers have the ability to track the order info at their dealerships.

Awesome, thanks! I'll give them a call today. Appreciate it!

Check #2: The 1st Edition model will get priority scheduling the first 2 months. My guess is Ford is stashing needed supplies to start cranking out Retail orders (like FE models) beginning next week.
Question... are you saying your order can change to a priority code 2 even if you did not get email email from ford?

Yes. My son's (and two other of our orders) changed to 02, but no email went out- technically, because nothing has happened. They've only been selected for potential scheduling. They WILL go out soon, just no guarantee of when.

Any information as to if Hybrid First Editions will have any priority to get scheduled and built?
