Another options is to add the cross bars ($800) and build a platform for a roof-top tent over the bed.

I remember watching all the videos that day and saw a glimpse of that...but forgot which one it was in. Thanks for posting. I am sure Lund and all the otehr cap companies already that theirs ready for production. The Maverick will be the king in the next SEMA show for sure.

I want to know if you can use the cross bars with the roll-up hard tonneau cover. It looks like it would be too low to the bed to allow rolling, but if Thule comes up with bars that are a little raised up then maybe it would work. I like the idea of using cross bars with a roof box, but keeping the box below the roofline of the truck.
