An ongoing thread for X Plan information in relation to the new Maverick Hybrid Truck.
Please share your knowledge and experience.
This is a screen grab of an email I
received today from Ford AXZ Program Headquarters, looks encouraging:

I signed up for the Mustang Club of America earlier this week to get the 90-day window started after which I will qualify for the X-plan discount assuming it is offered.

Ford also advertises on their website a program for $1,000 bonus cash for college students. I will be enrolled in graduate school by the time I'm able to purchase the Maverick, so I think I would likely qualify for that assuming it's still offered. My question is would it be possible to get both the X-plan pricing and the bonus cash together, or would it likely be one or the other?

Ooh. Good catch on the Mustang Club of America thing. At $35 for a 1-year Digital Membership that's a cheap way to get a discount.

Mustang Club it is. Digital Membership,90 days required, that hits mid September. Pin generated, good for a year.
I guess X plan pricing will be on the invoice.
Worth a try.
I have to ask... What is this X plan

Ford has A X and Z plans that are each special pricing classifications granted to current and retired employees, shareholders, family, friends/neighbors, and partner organizations on the purchase of vehicles.

How much is X-Plan discount these days? In the past I never bothered because you could negotiate way lower than X-Plan at any dealer, but in this seller's market, that might be a different story.
Looks like traditionally it's 0.4% off invoice + $275. So if you can get invoice it's actually not as good a deal at this price range. Slightly better if they're sticking to MSRP though.

I'm eligible for X-Plan as my employer is a Ford partner. I contacted four dealers and they all said they do not offer X-Plan pricing at the present time due to product shortages. I guess it's the dealer's option to offer it or not.

For the XL I ordered with few options, X-Plan didn't make much difference. Even the "3% under invoice" some dealers offer in these forums wasn't that much less once I added in doc fees and travel expense.

Here's what I have learned:
You should have a Ford Partner code to log into the Fordpartner.com website. From there, click on "Shop Ford", then on the next page, click Pricing & Incentives.
If a model is listed, Ford is offering it and the dealership should honor it if they participate in the program.
Right now, the Maverick is not listed. This is often the case with new models, but it could also appear at any time.
If you order today, if it appears on the site before you take delivery, you should get your PIN and papers ready.
I ordered at my dealer today. I brought my XPlan pin (employer) and they said they are pretty sure it applied, but would apply it and revisit it at delivery when it was all financed. And they took a scan of my x plan pin email. They said they couldn't give me an exact number on the discount, but said it would be approximately $800 ish maybe. Not life changing, but certainly worth it if your employer offers it. They used that discounted value on my order form noted approximate. (Lariat). YMMV.
Just came across these x-plan numbers on the FORDPARTNER website....not too impressed.

I am all about saving every penny I can, so this is good news even if it's only $156-$288. X-Plan also limits how much the dealership can charge for 'doc fees' which in some states, these are now over $1K ($800 where I am).

I'm not eligible for X-plan, but a couple of dealers in my area are still giving me X-plan pricing. Seems possible considering other dealers are at 3-4% under invoice which is a bigger discount than X-plan.
