My "Collision Warning System" Activated Today!

yep- i've had mine fire up 3 or 4 times over 8 months and it does for sure get your attention, there's are settings to change the parameters for when it fires off.

I found the system very annoying - turned the sensitivity down to low.

I just received my Maverick about two month ago. It now has about 4k miles. My first new truck since 2011. My system has activated only once ...and it was one if our local drug addicted homeless persons ran out in front of me right after sunset. He was wearing a dark jump suit. All I saw were whitish sneakers running across the road. The system got on the brakes just as I was hitting the them. I think it was slightly faster than me. I was impressed!

I dont know why anyone would turn down the sensitivity.
