New from Ontario, Canada!

Hey guys

I am from Ontario, Canada and have placed an order with my local Ford Dealer

a few notes on my experience

I emailed 3 dealers, one never got back to me, one called me 15 mins after I hit reserve and I've been emailing another dealer who seems happier to answer questions lol

I ordered the XLT with luxury package in area 51 colour
didn't add any accessories yet but will probably get the hard roll up tonneau cover
- does canada have the same deal with the Ford Pass credits that can be used towards accessories?


he said he was able to get me the X Plan and they don't have any dealer fees or admin fees

the only fee he thinks there could be is licensing as they are not sure if we will need a truck plate or not because of its size

so my xlt would be 32,924 + tax = 37,204
I sent a picture of my drivers license and he said the order was placed

I waited a few days and asked him if there are any confirmation emails and he said this "Ford doesn't send you any confirmation emails, just us going back and forth letting you know that the order has been placed. If you have any questions between now and when the truck arrives please reach out and I'll do my best to get back to you!"

I didn't sign anything or fax anything in and haven't received anything like you guys are getting with paperwork and emails so I am wondering if they actually placed an order lol

I am saving up a down payment for sept/oct so we'll see if it actually arrives or not!

right now I have a 2011 Fusion and pay $114/month for insurance and did a quote with rates.ca and am seeing ranges from $98-140/month depending on the company - I am with PC insurance and they can't give me a quote yet as it's not in their system
