I have the xl ordered with the 2.0 eco boost and a cap for the bed only thing I would have liked extra would be cruise control
I'm pretty sure '23 XLs come with cruise control as standard now. Unless it's actually "available" as an add-on. In 22, it wasn't even available to add on.

I would also add the front and rear mudflaps, rear window, hitch, and the 360 package.Didn't think it was absolutely necessary(360) until I started using it.Warned me of idiot racing up behind me in parking lot as I was backing out, saved my bacon third day of driving it!

I think cruise is standard on all models now.
Yes, if it was an option, I'd get it. Unless I had to buy the horrible Ford high-dollar yet crappy infotainment system to get it.

In my Transit, I installed aftermarket Rostra cruise. It works great. I also tore out the Ford radio and put in a 7" Android OS touchscreen. I'm not sure if Metra makes an adapter so you can install an aftermarket radio in the Maverick, yet. I bought my van off the lot, I didn't have the option to choose options. I bolted on everything that I'd want, though. The aforementioned cruise and radio, 800w inverter, extra power points, and a hitch. Oh, and cornering lights cuz the Transit only shines the lowbeam headlights directly in front in a narrow beam. Turning into my driveway at night was a gamble on where I would find myself!

Done deal…and 18% off accessories when ordered yesterday. Only ordered the hood deflector, front and rear mud flaps, tail gate shock, and front window shade fold up thing. Probably will have deal install it all along with the already paid for (including labor) drop-in bed liner. Don’t know that is serves a purchase to add a Matt on top of it…guessing not.
Enjoy your Mavs…mine is suppose to arrive by 2/4 at the Dealer xlt hybrid.

Though my private offer is missing in action and thus far so is Dealer openness to communicate if they ever COVP my 2022 order though I have sent them an email explaining how they can look that up since they ‘thought’ only Ford could perform that action.

Hoping the Ford brand mud flaps will do ok.

For us, it's hopefully getting Homelink installed. Have it on both Mazdas. Nice not having to mess with batteries in the garage and gate remotes.

The Bronco has the 3 homelink buttons built into the left side sun visor.

Are you sure about the lariat having up orange trim I thought it had Brown
I have an XLT though all that orange trim you can take off and I bet you're under you know the discount guys Etsy and so on you can get a different color and if you got to be really creative and it doesn't come off the control arm on the vent take a fine brush and just change it to the color you want nobody will be able to tell as long as you take your time and go easy

Thank you all for the info.

reading through this as well as the Ford "build it" page, I've discovered the only thing I would get from the factory on the XL is the paint color and maybe the hitch, since it's only $100, and the spray in bedliner, since that is also cheaper than aftermarket. All the other "options" seem to be bolt-on things that are likely better quality and cheaper from aftermarket suppliers; and more variety. The standard features of the 2023 include cruise and copilot360.

There’s orange trim on the door pulls and in the inserts in the cubby in front of the gear selector and maybe a couple other places on the XL. Not on XLT nor Lariat.
as an owner of a Maverick Eco Boost XLT AWD, I can assure you all XLT packages have the Orange inserts. I also added the luxury Pkg for the heated seats (which out performs out 2022 hybrid Toyota Highlander’s) heated mirrors and heated leather steering wheel (which the Highlander doesn’t have) to me was well worth the investment. In 2023 you can order a XLT Blackout package w/o them ( I have a hybrid Cactus Gray XLT luxury Pkg on order for my wife. Yep, she loves my Maverick and is selling her Highlander when the Mav comes in!

The XLT does infact have the "orange stuff" trim! I ordered the XLT deluxe trim, I think it's a great value package! I had to wait 17 months for my Maverick! It was well worth it. I've had it for about 7 weeks! Really enjoying our new Maverick!

I would have liked the GPS navigation program, but not on an XLT without all the pricey options. Cannot install a GPS. Not possible. Or I think it isn't.
Stand-alone GPS, or rip out the crappy Ford radio and put in an aftermarket one with GPS, Torque, BT, USB, etc etc.

This is my 2023 build. Because of under-demand for the spray-in bedliner, they're giving you a discount if you order spray-in bedliner AND cargo management system. Please note - remote start - ON THE KEY- is NOT > included< in 2023 for ANY builds/packages. Yes, it's on the phone app, but not on the key. Great forum threads touting this product as a go-to for simply adding remote start to your existing keys: Search Results for “maverick” – Start-X
