This is my first New Ford ever. Granted, I ordered it in August 2021. But Ford has a Tremor model with locking rear axle!!!! I have tried to order... no... nope.... Why didn't Ford give this as an option? I gave up on my Bronco..... This may be first, and last Ford...

Tremor model is only for 2023s+. You ordered in 2021 for a 2022... Orders for 2023's are now closed (they may open up again, we'll see).

IMO the Tremor version of the Maverick is kind of bogus compared to what you get on a Ranger or F150. I wouldn't feel put out.

You lose all the towing capacity in exchange for a marginal improvement in off road capability... but you still end up with something that isn't all that capable off road.

If I was really interested in off-roading I'd squeeze my budget and reach for a Ranger Fx4... yeah... we're talking about 32k vs 40k+ (give or take) but we're also talking about something with real capabilities.
