I got the e-mail confirmation about 10 minutes after my dealer placed the order. I hadn't even written the $500 check yet. LOL

I was still sitting there talking and the order confirmation showed up on the email on my phone so it was less than 5 minutes.

I placed my order last Thursday. I still haven't received any confirmation email. Does anyone know what a dealership does to enter them and why it would take longer than a day to get a confirmation email?

I did receive conformation with the first order but I wanted to change what I reserved and was told by the dealer that they were unable to make changes, system was down or something so they just ordered another vehicle. They didn't care since they will just put the first one on the lot. I have nothing down and it was only a couple days so a new order wouldn't knock me down the list that far and have nothing financial to loose. I had to contact them again after a couple days because I figured with a new order I would receive an email from Ford, but I never did even though I was assured my new improved order was put in.

I had an email before I got home from dealer. No money down. I checked 3 dealers before finding one that did not ask for money.

I got my email about 2 days later but for me it was $2k deposit and they said it was Non Refundable, although there wasn't anything written stating that.

Yes next day....No deposit
