Everybody that ordered a Maverick should not have exited the dealership without a contract showing all costs to get the vehicle out the door and on the road, signed by the You, Salesman and General Manager. Copy of which goes home with you. Just a order leaves you open for trouble if the dealer is not honest.

Any reputable dealership (and most are) would have given that. You placed an order for a new truck and didn’t ask for a “receipt“???

A $645 Aquisition Fee isn't too bad actually. Be careful some dealers will try to pad that.

Yes I have a receipt, but if you read the fine print there is a lot of wiggle room for exceptions... changes.etc.., Plus we already figured out that my page was on Leasing and when I put it back on finance that $645 was gone..

The acqistion fee is only added on for lease customers…. some shady dealers are adding on to Mav orders…they will most likely pocket that fee.

Challenge the finance dept….let them know $645 IS only added if it’s a lease. Those people pay acquisition fee in lieu of a destination charge one lays when they BUY the vehicle.

On my build order, how exactly do you "change from Lease to Finance"?? I don't see that? I'm trying to add an option to my order and this "Acquisition Fee" just showed up. Please advise

Near the monthly payment is a calculator icon. Switch to the Finance tab and click 'Update and close'. It's not like what the build and price tool says really matters anyways since the dealership is going to calculate the pricing manually and they aren't going to stick a leasing fee onto a financed sale.

I got a copy of my window sticker emailed to me, and now I’m waiting for shipping. The sticker is the correct price for what I ordered. I misplaced my initial paperwork but I don’t think it’s going to be a problem. I’ve got a very special set of skills if any shenanigans come up
