My 2022 Maverick Hybrid will not start using the FordPass app. The message I receive is that the vehicle has entered into "Deep Sleep" mode to preserve the battery. Other than that, no issues starting or operating the vehicle. I had the vehicle in to the Ford dealer I purchased it from sitting for four days. It came back still not working with them saying that Ford is aware of the problem and is working on a software upgrade that will be automatically delivered in an upcoming software update to solve this issue.

1) Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?
2) Has anyone heard of such an issue?
3) Are there any other Maverick Hybrid owners that have a functioning remote start?

Another thing you can do is to make sure your battery is fully CHARGED, try a trickle charger they are inexpensive and will do the job.
I have three trickle chargers and use them regularly on my boat, motorcycle, and when once of our vehicles sits over the winter. I know the value of a trickle charger, but I expect the dealer service department was smart enough to think about that, and I don't even know where the battery is on the Maverick?!

Thank you. I'll try that and report tomorrow.
I just had the trickle charger on for more than 24 hours and still "in deep sleep mode and connectivity is temporarily unavailable". I guess Ford's definition of temporary must be longer than the time I have owned the vehicle since July! It must be software related as they say, but it is surprising to me that it isn't more widespread that it appears to me at this point?!

Well that is an interesting idea. I have the hotspot, but never used it and the complimentary services has expired. When you say yours "is not there and you will get it installed when they come in", what needs to be installed, and how would I know if I had it?I don't see how these two issues could be linked though?!. Thanks for the input.

I asked about it, when we picked up the Mav 10/1/22 after 14 months of waiting, I don't really care, I have hotspot capabilities on my cell phone and ATT sucks anyway but was hoping to get reimbursed for it not being there.
I can use the auto start on the fob, I've tried that, great way to cool it down before going out.
