I would be interested to see the MPG numbers this would bring. Andre on TFL has shown the amazing capability of the hybrid F150, I could see some people having a harder decision to make between a hybrid ranger and the maverick, especially if the hybrid ranger has the same tow rating as the conventional and real 4wd.
Ehh. Even though they finally got rid of that hideous, outdated front end on the Rangers, it just doesn't seem like a "much needed" line. I'd be fine with either a Maverick Hybrid for outstanding mileage.... OR, an F150, for a work truck (or both) (not super impressed with the Hybrid F150... would rather have the all electric... and that will probably improved in a few more years). The Ranger won't be best for either of these things. I guess if you need a little of both, and can only afford a single truck, it will be good for some folks. Looks better now anyway
