My current vehicle has a minimum of 8.5 inches of ground clearance, which allows me to get under the vehicle without lifting it, which permits me to do oil changes, and other servicing, in no time. Another benefit is that even if the vehicle is parked on gravel, I can service it, as it doesn't need to be jacked up.

I will not buy a vehicle if I cannot get under the vehicle without lifting it. How about the rest of y'all?

(I am hoping that the Maverick has sufficient ground clearance)

From what I can tell the Maverick will have ground clearance similar to some mid-size SUV's.
I guess it's going to be a wait and see kinda thing.

I have seen recent shots of Hyundai's upcoming truck, and it looks as though there's plenty of ground clearance to service underneath, carry loads, etc

From what I’ve read the Maverick will have 8.3”-8.6” inches ground clearance depending upon configuration. I have no reason to believe these number aren’t on point.

I have a Prius now so this will be nice to sit higher. Owning a nice jack and jack stands, I don’t care if I can get under it or not. Takes me about 1 minute to get this thing on Jack stands. But the ride height is nice and why I want a taller vehicle.

I'm in the middle on this. Unless I'm in some fancy sports car, I don't want to sit low. Likewise, I really don't want to have to "climb" in and out of something everyday. That would get old fast. A nice, middle-of-the-road ground clearance of 7.5"- 8.5" makes entry/exit easier as well as under-car servicing. I don't bend like I used to. YMMV. 👍

As long as I can drive it up on ramps, or better yet off of ramps, without too much hassle or get a jack underneath I'm not bothered by ground clearance for servicing. I do like more ground clearance for when it takes the snowplows several days to get out to where I live.
