Turn Key and Nothing Happens

I have a 22 Mav XLT that every once in a while won't start when I turn the key. The radio and everything comes on, but the starter doesn't turn over. Has anyone had this issue? Normally, after trying 2-10 times it will finally turn over and start. It's happened to me a few times now. I doubt it's a starter issue because it hasn't made any noises or skips. Starter solenoid maybe? Other than those few occurrences, it starts right up with no issues. I also know it isn't a battery issue. I am going to switch to my other key as well and see if that fixes it. Anyone have anything else to look into? Anyone else have this issue?

You don't mention which drivetrain you have. You could have an EcoBoost with a failed starter solenoid or a corroded solenoid connection for example, while the Hybrid does not have a starter.
I have the 2.0 ecoboost. It's weird because it's only happened a few times now, but it's concerning. Also, of course it's out of warranty.
