I never received an email. I asked my salesman about it and he said their dealership regularly leaves the customer's email address off of the order form because generally customers don't want to be spammed with emails. He did look my order up and said that it shows it was entered correctly with a status of waiting to be scheduled. Personally I would rather have the reassurance that comes with an email directly from ford.

Yep, it’s the one email you want to get for reassurance. I placed my order 2weeks ago and received the email in the parking lot. I have yet to receive any spam from Ford. I’d ask if they can update your info on the order to include your email address, then you’ll get the updates when they start on your maverick.

Right!? I asked them to add my email address to it. Hopefully I get the updates as it moves forward. If not I will be the one sending spam asking for daily updates as soon as scheduling starts 😅

L3fty that salesman line about generally customers don't want their emails given due to Ford spam is just silly deflection. Were you able to watch him look up your order personally? Watch them carefully. Not submitting an email with your order is a big red flag.
I have received zero spam from Ford, only the confirmation email on June 21. Which clearly states scheduling/update emails will be sent in the future.

( Please pardon the double post )

I know the anticipation is killing everyone on this new Ford, including me. Can't wait but I wouldn't be worried right now if you don't have that email confirmation from Ford. I ordered back mid June. Have made mult changes, per dealer they kept each change on the same sales order to keep the date. And from what I understand if you make changes after the fact you might not get email from Ford. I have the printed and signed sales order from dealer, has a priority Code 10 plus nothing being build is late availability. The actual scheduling doesn't begin till 7/15
Also, given the current climate in the auto industry I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see any Mavericks till Dec/January. Hope I'm wrong but that's what I'm planning on anyway. Anything sooner would be a bonus.
I would say that as long as you have sales order from your dealership, signed and dated by you showing your build you should be good. Once 7/15 arrives I'm sure those with no emails will be getting after 7/15.

I feel much more at ease now. I just went into my dealership and actually sat down with the sales manager to go over all of my updates for my order. I got to watch him enter them into his computer as well as adding my email for future updates as scheduling and such happens. I definitely prefer dealing directly with the person doing the ordering rather than going through my salesman. As cool of a dude as he may be, I don't trust the telephone game of I tell him, he tells his boss, his boss tells ford. Too many links for a mistake.

Has anyone ordered from Granger Ford in Granger Iowa? If so have you taken delivery of an eco or hybrid ? What fees did you have to pay after delivery?
I ordered mine back in Sept (hybrid) still waiting on a build date. I called Ford and got nowhere.
