I’m considering ordering a maverick for the amazing utility and mileage, and also the hybrid being a generator on wheels. The 12v outlets in the back are a big plus. Is it possible to do a flatbed conversion? Looking at photos it looks as if the bed is part of the rest of the body as opposed to other trucks where it is separate and can be removed easily. If so, is it possible to keep those outlets???

You would probably severely compromise the structure of the whole truck trying to a flat bed conversion as the Maverick is a Unibody constructed vehicle, so yes the body and bed are one and the same, so no you could not do a flat bed conversion very easily. If you could figure out how I am sure you could figure out how to keep those 12v plug-ins.
