In person this color is bold bright blue with a whisp of metalic. It's an expensive looking color. Go to Ford and see if they have Velocity Blue vehicle on the lot. I like this Blue...but I ordered a cactus Grey Maverick. Live in Florida so don't like hot interiors on cars with dark exterior colors, or colors that might peel their clear coat. Like Silvers and Reds and BLACK!

I think I agree with you, I would go for the XLT, I don’t like the basic lariat rims whereas the XLT will have grey ones that look much better in Velocity Blue.

Same here, I ordered mine on June 18th. XLT luxury package velocity blue. Can't wait to get the vehicle , very excited about all the hype and good reviews the Maverick

Glad to hear about your maverick Cyndee. My dealership says my build order is September 13th week. But I have not received any messages from Ford Motor Company on my scheduled to build order. I hope my dealership is steering me in the right place. Please keep in touch...

Yes I feel the same way. I ordered my Ford Maverick X LT luxury package with the velocity blue on June 18th and hoping for some good input from my dealer. My build order supposed to be on September 13th week. Very excited and I know you are too.

This thread cost me $13,000. The blue makes the Lariat lighting and wheels really pop. As a result, my pepper red XLT got upgraded to a Lariat Lux sunroof....
