Great video with lots of detail including under the hood, the rear seats, and in the bed. Answered a lot of small questions I had.

Seriously, Chief Engineer. I could have received more insight from a Carpenter or Plumber than this guy.

You are right, The interviewer was throwing him off during the whole interview. He really should have been at the doctors office getting that cough checked out. I was just pissed off because I missed " HEE HAW" watching this waste of video.

The interviewer is a phenomenal automotive engineer that worked for Ford back in the day before starting his own consulting firm used by many OEMs. I agree he's a bit awkward on camera and he's not the best interviewer, but if you want to see how cars are built (and I mean actually designed) I highly recommend his youtube channel. It is really top quality stuff with information that you can't find anywhere else.

I did skip through the video to hear some of what the Ford engineer had to say, but I just can't watch this guys youtube channel. I know he has automotive experience and he has his fans, but then some people actually watch and recommend Scotty Kilmer too, so to each his own I guess.

he also wasn’t prepared at all. The question how how much range the Maverick has with battery proved he doesn’t know about hybrid tech, but he could’ve done some homework.

Either way some new shots of the car and a couple of insights.

What type of range do you get with the electric ....... could he know less about the product ? He pulls the hood then goes around and lifts the hood - oh they got rid of the secondary latch thats awesome.... really ? Thats because this is a pre production model so either Ford puts some kind of safety latch on or gets ready for lawsuits when someone stops for gas pulls the hood latch and forgets to check the oil or washerfluid and the hood ends up over the roof - He says Ive talked to 14 year olds and what they dont want is this as he points to a 4 cylinder gas engine.....We have many tesla owners which is a direct competitor - to a Maverick - uh no skippy not even close - how many times can he clear his throat - maybe covid infected... this guy was a top designer ???
