Hey everyone. I've been messing around with the configurator and I think I'm going to go with the all wheel drive Maverick as my choice.

I have one question about the FX4 package, which tires come with the truck? I've heard it comes with Falkens?

Falken Wildpeak A/T tires. They review really well and are pretty common in the Land Cruiser / LX community that I'm part of for my other vehicle. I ran a set in 37s on my Raptor in 2014 and was pretty pleased with them.

Pirelli Scorpions are standard on the fx4. You have to pay extra to get the Falken Wildpeaks on the upgraded wheels.

Are you sure the upgraded tires ore those wildpeak at3s and not the tamer wildpeak at trail tires...? I'm hoping it's the more aggressive at3s, just haven't seen any evidence of any of this being true

Edit: I see the original equipment check that tirerack puts on there, but how do we know they aren't also speculating?

I've seen nothing directly from ford. Just what tirerack says along with several people on this and other forums. I would also venture to say it would be hard to sell the trail tires under the description of "aggressive a/t tires"

Everything points to AT3s

I hope so, just trying to remain skeptical to keep myself from being let down

The problem I have is that I want the Blacked Out Aluminum Rims, so I will have to just opt for them and change the Scorpions to a Severe Snow rated tire like the Wildpeaks (looks like those don't come in 225s, but some of the others do like Toyo Open Country). Costs about the same as adding the other rims and I have some spare tires.

Yes, they are the AT3 tires. I have the upgraded tire package and can confirm.

Nice! I've had mine a little over a week. Loving it ao far!
Me too, I'm at 1700 miles three weeks in... Been using too much gas. I love it, noticing little quirks though. The hood wiggles some at high speed, and there's a faint vibrating when accelerating that sounds like some plastic in the interior somewhere just isn't mated perfectly.

Area 51 no more. I like the wrap. Gives me some ideas. I need to have my two mavericks and Bronco Cactus Gray sport wrapped for my biz. My logo is the blue so I don't think I need a whole vehicle wrap. Your wrap makes the truck look bigger. I'm just concerned with the advertising since I drive like Mr Magoo. My bumper stick says "I went to the Mr Magoo School for driving and I'm in front of you"!

I'm thinking a combination of Blue, gray, green and replacing the red with the Maverick orange. Just need to find a good designer/wrapper.

Lmao! That's too funny! Luckily, I've slowed my driving down considerably in the last few years....getting older I guess...lol
Definitely find a good design and wrap shop. Makes all the difference in the world!

Definitely a different drive. With the Big Raptor, Boston drivers just move out of my way. The smaller Maverick, I'm lower than a jeep Cherokee - they all cut me off. I guess payback is a bitch. Drive safe!
