And manufacturers don’t care about parts lasting past warranty. Parts manufacturers are given a dollar amount per part and warranty information. That’s their only guidelines.

I’ll take my 25 years experience seeing and knowing it first hand over whatever knowledge you may have acquired. Give it up dude.

You still don’t get it. The auto manufacture provides specs to parts manufacturers, of which they need them to meet their criteria. They must supply pre-production (or production) units for testing. IF they pass stringent tests, they get RFQs (request for quote) from a few suppliers that did pass testing.
 
It was designed that way, so mechanical soundness took it into consideration, therefore all is well.

Besides a bigger battery you honestly think the starter is upgraded then again that’s your perspective. I spent 25 years in GM manufacturing and suppliers are told meet specifications which means get past warranty. GL to you.
