Wheel Options For The XL?

If I have one complaint about Ford trucks, and the Maverick is no exception, it's that the steel wheels are ugly. Yes...I know that steel wheels are, by nature, not stylish, but on other makes they're tolerable; on Ford trucks, its as if they're designed to be ugly.

So...I wanna buy the XL model; what aftermarket choices of wheels might I have? I checked RockAuto for Bronco Sport wheels, but the vehicle is too new to see what the replacements are, and what they'll cost.

when the vehicle becomes more mainstream, you will probably be able to find a set of used aluminum. This and the cruise control are two main reasons I went with the XLT.

NDL.....That is the same reason I went with the XLT. It's just a couple of thousand more. Yes I know 2 grand more. But your get a nicer interior, nicer wheels and tires, and cruise control to name a few. If you are on a really tight budget, then the XL. But remember... that is what your getting! CHEAP

Oh yeah, I am not complaining; the Mav is a great value. I'll probably go with the XLT, but the XL still has her appeal, sans the steel wheels.

Good suggestion, and good luck with your XLT.

I like the XL steel Wheels best. I’m buying an XLT for cruise only but hoping to pick up some steel take off wheels at a decent price from some of you who don’t like them. I think the the steel wheels make it look more like a truck and are more aero styled to match the smooth contours of the body.
The bronco sport wheels look fantastic on the maverick and cheap there a set for sale on the other maverick forum. Here’s a pic for you

Tire Rack has a ton of wheel options for the Maverick and you can see what your truck will look like with them:

They have steelies for $104 each, but they are black IIRC.

Perhaps you would be interested in a straight up trade, depending on where you are located? I am not really picky but I don't really like the steelies.
Mine is a USA order so I'm not sure if that's the reason I could order the optional alloys with AT tires.

Hello. New here. I painted my steel wheels with plasti dip/hyper dip and am very pleased. $100 and it completely transformed my truck

In Canada the XL has the option to order these with AT tires. That what I did along with 4k Tow, sibl, tray mats and 400 watt inverter.

Go to the TireRack.com and you can put in a Maverick and your color and then change all the rims you want to see what they 'virtually' look like
I downgraded my '23 rollover to XL from XLT because Cruise was made standard on the XL. I'm going to prime and paint my steelies black. I did this 7 years ago on my son's Camry and they still look good. I'll add trim rings and chrome lug nuts. I think it's a good, retro look.

The AL ones are just too "busy" in design, IMHO. :D
