Don’t you find it interesting that their 3 from levels have inconsistent naming ? XL, XLT, Lariat? I wonder if they focus grouped this

I think the XL will be the winner....so many people want that hybrid and a inexpensive little truck... shocked me.

Those are pretty standard Ford Truck trim level names.
I'd have easily gone for the XL trim to keep costs down if they had offered something like the "Sport" or "STX" trim options like that had years ago on the old Rangers/F150s that at least gave you upgraded wheels, a convenience feature or two, and a cosmetic add-on or two to dress it up to not look like a base model truck.
I suppose a lot of additional packages and options weren't part of the overall program at the time of development as this is a low cost entry vehicle, and may come about later as consumer desires may make if profitable to offer.

Will wait til some are on the streets and new kinks are worked out. Mine will be XL, 2.0L, AWD with 4k towing. Will upgrade tires and a little protection myself for off grid camping and backcountry travel.

Hello all. Looks like the FoMoCO favorite is winning in this poll. The XLT is winning by a large margin 59.5%. Withe Lariat at at 29.7. Coming in third is the XL at 13.5%. I'm shocked. I thought the XL would out pace the Lariat. But, I was going to order the XLT LUX, and then changed my mind at the last minute for the Lariat, after dissing that Activ X interior. I hope I made the right choice. Again thanx all for voting. Have a great Sunday with family, freinds, and you furry one(pet) too!

Lariat, with all the boxes ticked. I want a vehicle that'll do what I need for the next 10 years.

If I was trying to keep up with the Jones's I wouldn't be buying a Mavrick. I would be replacing my 2003 Ram 2500 with a $70k ¾ ton truck but then again it is, and has been paid off for years. It is just time to get another vehicle I want and will do what I need it to. I just like the features a Lariat offers. But thanks for playing.
