Hello,
New member and 1st post. Ordered on last day of ordering 9/20/22 in production 4/25/23 and built on 4/30/23. It's been 2 weeks now and still waiting for shipping info. Gotta be patient but this is a bit painful. Feels like waiting for something arriving on a slow boat from China but instead it's a slow train from Mexico..!!

Don't feel bad. I ordered an XLT Hybrid on October 9th, 2021 (made the changeover in September 2022) and just got an update on the vehicle that was shipped on April 20th, to arrive between May 21 and June 3rd. It was previously guesstimated to arrive between May 3rd and May 22nd. Your odds are slightly better than winning the Powerball....slightly.

Nope! Your odds are 100% you WILL get your Maverick, and shortly afterwards say IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT.
The wait will soon disappear from you memory.

Yeah, I should edit that to say "Your odds of getting it in a timely fashion,,."

Unexpected super high demand is very difficult for any automotive company.

I appreciate your optimism. I will certainly remain positive as I see many have suffered through this process but have ultimately been very happy once their Maverick arrived.

Well stated..!!

The main part of the suffering is the uncertainty. Kind of like if you have a lost pet with the uncertainty of if/when you get your pet back.

You lucked out in build date. Last day was not 9/20 according to my dealer. She emailed me on the 22nd, my order was confirmed the 27th. Still waiting for VIN. No production date either. I did remove on add-on, another is no longer standard . Priority code went down so that might help me.

The other part is being dumb, like me to get rid of old car even before I was able to order. I figured I had not used it much during pandemic why not save on loan payments and insurance. Have had no vehicle since late August.
Just an update...
3 weeks since it was "built" and it's still just sitting in Mexico.
Thinking about ordering a 2024 Ranger Raptor. Wonder which truck I will get 1st?

Did you get confirmation it was still in Mexico? Or is that off the website? Because sometimes the website isnt exactly kept current.

Just the info off of the tracking website. Is there another way to know for sure where the vehicle is?

I received mine 1 month after I was notified it was "ready for shipping" or "awaiting shipping".

I am getting mine tomorrow, after 594 days since ordering. Shipping to PA was 35 days. I plan on adding an onboard 12 Volt battery charger, so then I can call it a plug-in Hybrid.

But it will be useless, as everytime you come back from your last trip, it will be 100% charged. Unless you plan on LONG periods of non-use, in which case "maybe" a trickle charger may be in order. I would check with Manual first. 250V hybrid battery may keep the 12V one charged.

I thought the hybrid battery is 450 volts.

No matter what the hybrid battery is, there is a 12V battery that is kept 100% charged by the hybrid system.
