Use ForScan to change powerpoint timeout from 4500 sec. to 300 sec. I didn't like having power to the lighter plug for 1 hr 15 mins after the ignition was off. Now it goes off in 3 mins.

Toyota Tacoma owners over the years used IDEAL Keyed stainless steel clamps to secure the tailgates from easy theft. Pros will get it no matter what you do to the gate.

I know this posting is over a year old but here's my version of a theft deterrent. Not fool-proof but might slow down the bad guys. I rounded the corners on hex nut and after installing, fill the slot with JB Weld. I you ever want to remove the clamp will have to chisel out the JB Weld. Had previously use this setup on my 95 S-10
