Mine is is production now, so I need to know, so I can sell my current vehicle JUST before it arrives. I doubt the dealer trade-in amount can match the highest offer (minus 7.5% sales tax)

I'm at two weeks since built. I'm fairly certain mine is sitting in a yard somewhere about two hours from me in StL, and it had to pass my house to get there. Haha! I'm scheduled for delivery on 12/11, which would be about 25-26 days from build date. I'm located in mid-Missouri.

Different strokes for different folks, depends on where you live and how lucky you are. If it goes through Chicago for any reason, good luck and expect it to spend an entire week bouncing around yards there as most do. Also, you never know when it hits the rail yard finally waiting for truck transport to the dealer, could sit there for a day, could sit there for two weeks based on other accounts.

My Maverick (Area 51 XLT FX4 w/Lux Package and sunroof) was built on 12/4/21 and shipped out within days by rail. However, it sat in Lordstown, Ohio (apparently a hub for Ford Vehicle distribution in the North East) for almost three weeks. My delivery date to the dealership was between 1/6/22 and 1/12/22. The vehicle was not affected by any of the recent recalls. According to my dealership, it was a driver shortage causing delays in vehicle deliveries. What really stunk at the time was that Lordstown, Ohio is only 105 miles from my residence. Hopefully the recently threatened rail strike will not cause anyone any additional delays waiting for their Maverick

I just spoke to Sunrise Ford and apparently they take 2-3 weeks to get to Fort Pierce, rather than 6-8 weeks like some here have reported. So it may or should ship next week! So late Dec. or early Jan. I should get it. (y)

Mine was built on 12/22/22, shipped on 12/28/22 and is scheduled to arrive the week of 1/15/23.

Last I heard it was on a rail car in Kansas on 1/2/23. At least it is in country.

The dealer says the trucking contract was in limbo for a while. The dealer had vehicles sitting in Atlanta for 2+ weeks waiting for transport. They were hiring drivers to go up and bring them down to the dealership. Now that the trucking contract is in place, they can no longer do that.

I am looking at 3.5 weeks from shipped to arriving at the dealer, if all goes well.

Weird it is taking 50 weeks to be shipped!

Don't sell your car based on the email that you will get saying it "should arrive between (fill in 7 day window dates). For over a month, I was told my Maverick would arrive between Jan. 17-23. And just about every day in that month I would call the Ford Marketing hotline and get told it would arrive between Jan. 17-23. So I advertised the car I drive on Craigslist and sold it on Jan. 22nd, knowing for the entire week prior my Maverick was only 3 hours away (per Ford tracking system). Anyhow, it is now Jan 27th, and still no Maverick. It is still sitting in the same VA rail yard, 3 hours from my home. And I sold my car expecting to have my new Maverick.

So based on my experience, don't trust the Ford folks for giving you an accurate timeframe for when your Maverick will arrive.

I did a dumb move, I knew it would take awhile to get but wanted save on insurance and car payments. I sold my car BEFORE the 2023 window opened. I've had no vehicle since late August. I'm using senior citizen transportation. Kind of limiting but oh well. I've saved $2100 so far , get more $ for selling to dealer, $ for Ford and dealer incentive and a bit for friends and family. I have a goal set for down payment, which includes money left after selling car and paying off loan. Now for build date.
